Privacy Policy

    Effective date: May 13, 2026

This policy is provided for general information and is not legal advice. We recommend having a Canadian privacy lawyer review it for your specific use case.

LotGenix (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates in the Province of Alberta, Canada. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

    1. Information we collect

    • Account data: name, email address, password hash, dealership name.
    • Billing data: processed by Stripe; we store customer IDs and subscription status only — never full card numbers.
    • Uploaded content: vehicle photos, dealer logos, user-provided vehicle listing URLs and associated public data, generated assets, voiceovers.
    • Usage data: requests, feature usage, error logs, IP address, browser type.
    • Cookies & local storage: session tokens, preference flags.

Business Contact Information: As a B2B platform, much of the data we collect (such as work emails, names, and dealership contact details) qualifies as Business Contact Information (BCI). Under PIPEDA and PIPA, BCI used solely for communicating with you in relation to your business, employment, or profession is subject to specific exemptions and is not treated under the same strict rules as standard consumer personal information.

    2. How we use your information

    • Provide and operate the LotGenix video generation service.
    • Authenticate you and secure your account.
    • Process subscription payments and manage your plan quota.
    • Improve reliability, performance, and product features.
    • Communicate service updates, security alerts, and support replies.
    • Comply with legal obligations.

    3. Legal basis & consent

We rely on your consent (given when you create an account and submit content) and on the necessity of processing to perform our contract with you. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account; some processing required by law (e.g. tax records) may continue for the period required.

    4. Service providers we share data with

We use carefully selected third-party processors:

    • Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosting, database, file storage.
    • Stripe — payment processing.
    • Google (Vertex AI / Gemini / Veo) — AI image and video generation.
    • ElevenLabs — text-to-speech voiceovers.
    • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, edge security.

These providers act under written agreements limiting their use of your data to providing the contracted service.

    5. International transfers

Some of our processors store and process data outside Canada (primarily in the United States). By using LotGenix you acknowledge that your information may be processed in jurisdictions whose privacy laws differ from those of Canada and Alberta, and that it may be subject to lawful access requests by foreign authorities.

    6. Cookies and analytics

We use first-party cookies and local storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may add aggregate analytics (e.g. page views, error counts) in the future; if so, we will update this policy.

    7. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. Generated assets and project data are retained for the life of your subscription. After account deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. invoices kept for tax-record purposes).

    8. Your rights under PIPEDA and Alberta PIPA

To exercise any right, email our Privacy Officer at dmytro@lotgenix.com. We respond within 30 days.

    9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, role-based access control, and row-level security in our database. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.

    10. Children

LotGenix is a B2B product intended for licensed automotive dealerships and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

    11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
